KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 — The government is aiming to raise the country’s halal export value to RM80 billion and increase the halal industry’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP) to 11 per cent under the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP), said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — The Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry is optimistic about achieving halal exports of RM63 billion by 2025 based on the encouraging RM60 billion achieved last year.

PETALING JAYA, May 28 — Halal Development Corporation Bhd (HDC) expects Malaysia’s halal exports this year to surpass the RM42 billion pre-pandemic level.
